About Hospice of North Idaho

For over 40 years, Hospice of North Idaho has been a freestanding, community nonprofit providing end-of-life care and support. We are governed by a board of community volunteers ensuring our services are accessible to everyone. We have developed the most holistic and comprehensive programming available including palliative (pre-hospice) care, hospice care, grief and loss services for adults and children, spiritual care, education, and volunteer services. Idaho’s first and only 24/7 acute inpatient hospice unit, The Schneidmiller House. We look forward to many more years fulfilling our mission to “serve the seriously ill and those touched by loss with open hearts and expertise” in our community.
